P.E.-Sports and Games Syllabus
Ms. Kay's 6th period
Grading: Class Assignments: 50% Class Participation: 50%
Exploration of a variety of sports and active games from around the world,
the history behind the activities, and the rules.
We will attempt to play as many sports and games as possible using available
equipment and appropriate weather conditions. We may also play modified games
and indoor versions.
Some of the activities will include the following:
These are just some of the
ideas. We will learn about more sports and games than we will actually be able
to play. Students who are not feeling comfortable with a game or not feeling
well are not required to play.
We are also open to suggestions from students and parents.
